The ESCAPE (European Symposium on Computer Aided Process Engineering) series constitutes a major event in the area of CAPE with participants from countries all over the world. The series serve as a forum for engineers, scientists/researchers and students to present and discuss progress being made in the area of CAPE. The last ESCAPE symposium was organized in France (2008) (www.escape18.org).

The conference will take place in Cracow (Kraków). Cracow can be easily reached by air from several airports as Frankfurt, London, Paris, Rome, Copenhagen and Vienna. There is a good connection from Cracow airport to the city centre by bus, local train or taxi (www.information.krakow.pl). The conference will be held 14-17 June 2009 in Cracow, Poland, at CDK (Congress Centre of Collegium Medicum UJ) ul. Św. Łazarza 16
